Good evening Susan
Great evening at the Kayak Cafe. Big thank you to Marilyn and Spider for the great venue and for the great food. And thanks to all our members for the dishes and desserts.

We practiced some of the songs for the library picnic Friday August 12th 11:00 a.m.
Jen, librarian, was in attendance. She conservatively estimated 30 people at the picnic.
Some of the items listed below are the same as last week.
Teach the World – eliminate “OOOOOOOO” and work on La Das.
Lion – last week we said to repeat opening verse twice. We only sang it once this week. What would you like to do Susan?
Purple – ignore the written kazoo section at the end. Instead, repeat last verse with kazoos. End with some or all shouting “Taquila”
I think the more people shouting it the better
Monster – last week we said to repeat the last verse twice and end on a G chord. This week, the Myers gang correctly suggested that the song ends repeating the words “Monster Mash Woo Hoo” a few times with growling or other monster sounds in the background and fade out. Makes sense
When Your Smiling – figure out the Susan versus Marilyn differences and agree on what the group should be singing.
