Another gem from Jack — He certainly has more energy than I do at the end of the day!
See you all next week. Stay tuned on Meetup and emails: I had cancelled the Wednesday group not knowing we had the use of the room, but also because of having two events at the end of the week. If the workshops are cancelled, I may post the practice back on for Wednesday. A decision will be made by Saturday.

Dear Ms. Ayer,
Another fun night.
10 warm bodies were present. Only two had some semblance of Halloween costumes. Although it is possible that Don was trying to pass as a lumberjack. If so that number will be amended to three.
We played mostly Halloween songs. Some were ones being featured this Sunday at the SNHUG Meetup at the Kittery Farmers Market.
Announcement:
11/4 – Concord Senior Center – We are up to 9 participants. Apparently it’s a large auditorium. Plenty of room if anyone else wants to join in. We have some carpools going.
11/5 – This was not announced but the Kingston Rec playshop is in danger of being canceled due to a lack of participants. If you’re interested please look at the flyer posted on Meetup, our web page or Facebook for more information.
Most of the songs went over well.
Evil Ways – We are continuing to improve on that song especially with the top notch stick and shaker work from our percussion section.
It troubles me to admit it but they are on the right side of the room.
Werewolves of London – This was a one time Halloween song. Susan pushed Tonto to lead but he failed miserably. Susan Zevon took over with good results.
We had requests for Hell by the Squirrel Nut Zippers and Little Red Riding Hood by Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs. Both good songs
Science Fiction Double Feature – excellent job by Susan. Laura, the librarian, said it was great and was quite surprised that SUP did something from the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Maria’s Parody Challenge – three parodies were presented based on Walking After Midnight.
Maria instigated this mess. All three were received with mixed reviews. Regardless they
will be posted on the website under the parodies tab. Based on the feedback I believe that Susan owes Jack a pizza. However, that will probably be disputed.
Some sad news, Jenn, the children’s librarian and one of our biggest supporters, is no longer working at the Seabrook Library. Those of us who are playing at Concord next week should be able to say our goodbyes. She told us that she would be there.
I’m sure I missed something since I didn’t take any notes. Please edit as needed.
Happy Halloween and I hope none of you have nightmares from Susan’s parody.
We will see some of you Sunday and hopefully the rest of you next Wednesday.
Take care.
In your service,
Tonto
