Hi, everyone, Please see this latest recap from Jack. Those of you that attended today: thanks so much, it was a good practice and fun as always. We did decide to remove “Peace On Earth/LIttle Drummer Boy from the lineup for this year, but it deserves to be brought back for a little more work next year. It’s a great song and we were improving – but when performing, even for a low-stress event such as the library party, I would rather we be comfortable and confident that all will go (mostly) smoothly. Perfection is overrated, but when a song falls apart that is no fun for anyone!I am very happy that we continue to grow, and I hope all new members feel welcome when they come in for the first few times. We are not a class, but we are happy to help you get started. The more the merrier! As for the Christmas list: Once those last few corrections are made, I will be printing some packets of the music for the 21st, in case everyone doesn’t have easy access to a printer. If you have your own, that’s great, just make sure you have the latest versions of the songs, or have made notes on the page. Thanks again to Jack for taking notes and sharing and trying to keep me on track. You’re the best, Tonto!! Susan

Additional information:
If you have not looked at our website please do. You can access all our songs and several subcategories. We also have photos, contact info, recaps, events etc.
Susan has business cards for the Seacoast Ukulele Players. If you would like one or more please see her.
We spent the majority of our time practicing Christmas and holiday songs. We ended with a few of our favorites general songs. The following need work:
White Christmas – ignore what’s handwritten on the PDF. Strum through the end.
Silver Bells – Susan will add the echoes in the appropriate areas. It was determined that some are missing from the beginning of the song.
Deck the Halls – Susan will reformat the page to show the pauses.
Winter Wonderland – this comment is making its second appearance this week. Remove the E7 from the second to last line. This can be a pen and ink change until Susan or I have time to correct the PDF.
Wagon Wheel – slow down on the last line of the final chorus
The video of O, Holy Night has been posted to our Facebook page. There is immense talent in this group. Below is what I believe a link to the video from my Google photos. I have no idea if it works, I’ve never tried it before. I would appreciate it if someone could get back to either Susan or me to let us know if you could access it.
