Thank you, Jack! These recaps are very very helpful! One more thing: I am going to put Wednesdays back on Meetup, although the plan is to hold our main jams/practices on Saturdays at least until April. Jack and Maria will lead and a few others have expressed that they want to continue on Wednesday.
I agree with Jack: it was a very good practice. We can always tighten things up, and there are always going to be little things we forget or miss, but in general we are quite ready for this performance! I still have one spare packet of music, and can make more if needed – just let me know. We have two more chances to practice, next Wednesday and Saturday. We will take requests on what songs need one more run-through. Saturday we can talk about how we will arrange ourselves, who will share stands and mics, etc. And don’t forget to plan your rides to Lowell.
See you soon!
Susan

Good afternoon Susan,
He had 14 attendees today. Great time.
We went through the first two sets of Lowell music. Couple of minor hiccups but overall things went very very well.
If you are playing at Lowell and you haven’t read last Wednesday’s recap, please check it out. There are a couple pen and ink changes to be noted.
Additional things to note:
Freight Train – on the intro stay on the C chord until you hear the train whistle.
Cover of the Rolling Stone – Jack will try to start off in key going forward. Please feel free to speak up if you want to throw in some ad libs during the song. I know a few of us have the SNHUG version from a couple of years ago with penciled in comments. That was courtesy of Keith.
Midnight Special parody – Kim wants to add some ooos during the first verse of the song.
I want to give a shout out to Meghan for volunteering to take my place for one of the solos in End of the Line. She did a great job.
That’s all I have. Susan, please feel free to add your comments /corrections.
Thank you and enjoy your weekend,
Jack
