Sup Recap 2/11/2023

Hi, All,

Here is Jack’s excellent recap for this week! Thank you, Tonto.

Yes, welcome to Larry and Ashley and Kathy – and thanks to all of our members, new and old, who keep turning up and making it all work!

Please remember that we are happy to take song suggestions. We really will try anything, unless Jack is the one suggesting it.😀🎵

The pdf of the Avita setlist will be on Meetup and the website later this morning. Drop me a line if you are not seeing it. All of the songs are on the website, but this gives you an easy document to print, or to use to check that you have the right songs in the right key.

See you soon!!

Susan

Dear Susan,

It was a very nice Saturday morning Meetup  today. We had 11 attendees including three new members. Larry, Ashley and Kathy. Welcome aboard.

We went through some of the songs for the nursing home performance Sunday the 19th at 3 PM.

All skill levels are welcome to join us. It will be fun. Please see the details on Meetup. The PDF of the songs will be posted within the next day or two.

We tried two new songs which will be added to our repertoire.

Hazy Shade Of Winter – Bangles version.  Thank you Patty for bringing this great song  forward.

Tuesday Afternoon – the Moody Blues. Despite some objections by our Fearless Leader, she decided to change the key and try it out. It went pretty well, in my humble opinion. That will be added to our list as well. Thank you to me for suggesting that song.

Those two songs will be posted to the web page within the next couple of days.

Fearless Leader is adamant that we won’t play Nights in White Satin.  Only time will tell.

That’s it for now. Some of us will meet again Wednesday in the round.  No computer.  See Meetup or Facebook for more information.

Thank you for making today fun as usual.

Happy Valentine’s Day,

Jack
