Good afternoon Susan,
Fun day as always. We had 16 in attendance.
Announcements:
We will be circling up again this Wednesday. If you have any songs you’d like to bring feel free. Don’t forget Friday is St Patrick’s Day. If you have a favorite Irish melody bring it along.
3/25 – Rockingham County Nursing Home. We will be meeting there at 1:30 and performing in the Hilton Room. Bring microphones and amps if you have them.
4/2 – Avita Newburyport. This will be our second performance. They loved us the first time. We will meet at 1:30. Please enter through the main entrance. You’ll be guided to our location.
Please wear your SUP t-shirt to the events if you would like.
Speaking of t-shirts, Tom is taking orders.
We went through all the songs for the Rockingham performance. The PDF has been corrected to reflect the correct version of Let’s Talk Dirty in Hawaiian. You can find it on the website and also as a link on Meetup.
We played and videoed a special song requested by Susan. Jennifer Juniper by Donovan. I think we did pretty well with it. Thank you Charlie for the high quality video.
We played a couple songs brought forward from Wednesday. Drops of Jupiter featuring Lauren and Patty. Followed by The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea brought by Susan. Both great songs. These songs can be found on the website. That said, Susan will reworking Drops of Jupiter.
Laura, the librarian, wanted to let us know that all the librarians and patrons love us. She said they also love the new songs we tried today as well as all our old ones.
At the end of the meetup Susan found a tuner under a stack of chairs at the back of the room. Photo attached. I have it.
If I missed something, please let me know.
Have a great weekend and thank you for being so nice.
And, don’t forget to set your clocks ahead.
Jack AKA Tonto
