Hi, All –
Jack is back!!
(and so is Bev – hurrah!)
I have nothing much to add except to emphasize the sign- ups for upcoming events so I can choose songs that have enough voices, etc.
Also, when we go to Connect 55+ in Concord on June 21st, that will preempt the regular Wednesday evening, at least as far as Jack and I being there to lead. So please let me know what you would like to do. Of course, you can all go to the library anyway! We can make it a “circle up with paper copies” night, but please let me know so I can post it accordingly, or cancel.
Thank you all for making this so much fun! See you next week.
Susan

Good evening Susan,
I thought it would give a stab at trying to resume composing the recaps. I haven’t been in great shape the last few weeks because of my surgery but things are starting to get better.
We had 18 attendees on this beautiful warm Wednesday evening.
We have the following events coming up and encourage people to sign up as soon as possible for planning purposes. Details are on meetup. If you should have any questions please contact either Susan or me.
The Brentwood Senior Lunch needs ukuleles
Wednesday May 24th 11:30 to 1:00. Please plan on arriving at 11:00. Lunch will be provided. They set list is posted on Meetup and on our Facebook page.
Play at Mill No. 5 Market, Lowell
Sunday June 11th 10 to 1. Please arrive by 9:30. We will be playing outdoors. We hope to have enough players that we can take turns performing so that not everyone has to be up there for 3 hours.
A Happy Hour with Connect 55+ Concord, NH
Wednesday June 21st 4 to 5. Arrive at 3:30. This very active retirement community is always a fun place to play. The set list is being developed, more details to follow.
We practiced songs from the Brentwood and Lowell lists. Susan has a separate list of corrections that need to be made to some of the songs.
We also revisited The Beatles song Two of Us.
It needs a lot of work but is doable.
Overall it was a fun entertaining evening as usual.
I hope Maria doesn’t mind me including this but here. For anyone interested Maria has been doing an informal session which I believe begins around 4:30 where she will push your limits with more technical forms of playing. If you can get there early it is worth checking out.
That’s it for now, it feels good getting back into the swing of things.
Take care and we’ll see you next week,
Jack
