Fun night! By next week I will have the Concord Connect 55+ list to go over – and please do come with a list of songs you would like to play! Anything on the website, or let me know your ideas ahead of time for anything new.
I will be stopping at Throwback to get more information about their JUne 8 open mic – I want to know the size of the stage area outside, for one thing. I will report back, and post it if it looks good!

We had 21 enthusiastic players this evening. The weather was beautiful to wrap up the month of May. Tomorrow we welcome the the beginning of meteorological summer.

I don’t remember playing The Boxer this evening but I know the other two seemrd to be well received.
Lauren had sent a request to Susan to try Fortunate Son. Great song but it needs work.
The rest of the evening was spent playing random song suggested by the members.
The highlight of the evening was the One and Only Bev Eskel performing Summertime. It was phenomenal. I’m sure everyone agrees that we are very lucky to have you Bev.
There has been some rumblings about a possible Beatles evening. No idea when this would happen but please start thinking about the songs you would like to try.
If there is anyone out there that would like to be removed from our email list please let Susan know.
