This format worked well, so I will be attempting to stay in a similar pattern on Wednesdays: A lesson led by Maria (or anyone else that has something to share) from 4:30 -5; an hour of jamming with familiar or easy songs; wrapping up with 45 minutes or so of new songs, song suggestions, or open mic opportunities.
If we are practicing for a large event, we can set extra practice days as needed.
I hope to see a few people at our Saturday practice – please bring the songs for Sunday with you if you have them. I will also bring an extra set and we can share.
By all means, sign up to play Sunday and at the art show on September 9 if you can. Both will be fun events!

Good evening Susan,
I like to start off by thanking you for dragging out some of the old songs to placate Tonto. It was appreciated.
Maria gave a lesson on percussion which started at 4:00 p.m.. If you’re wondering why some people were a little exuberant with clackers etc. that was why. Maria also had practice Those Were the Days and Limbo. I had never heard of the song Limbo before but I was done by Jimmy Cliff. Fun song. Keep your eye on Meetup is Maria does these things randomly and if you’re able to get there early it is well worth it.
We had 17 members in attendance for this fun filled evening.
We played a number of older songs and some newer songs. For a complete PDF of all of today’s songs check out our website. It can be found under the Meetup Song lists PDFs tab under Songs. It is titled August 16, 3023.
We ended the evening with some random songs chosen by various individuals.
There is a practice open to anyone Saturday morning from 10:00 to 12:00 at the Kingston Rec. We’ll also be performing at the same place Sunday afternoon from 4:00 to 5:30. The details can be found on Meetup. We could use some additional numbers, remember skill level is not important. If you have any free time please join us.
The same applies for the Art Show in Haverhill
Saturday September 9. We will be joining forces with SNHUG. SUP will start at 1:30. Then we will combine with SNHUG for a set of songs. SNHUG will wrap it up with their own set. This is always a fun time. Please join us. Once again, all the details are on Meetup.
