Hello, SUP! and thank you, Jack for once again paying attention and keeping us on track.
If anyone can make it to Nottingham on Sunday… please do! The pdf of songs is now available on the website and the Meetup post. (If I messed it up, Jack will tell us!)
Costumes are optional at Nottingham and again at Avita on the 28th.
Let’s have some fun!
thank you all –
Susan

Hi Susan,
Fun night at the Library. We had 14 in attendance.
We ran through the Halloween songs for the Nottingham Community Church Halloween Party this Sunday.
A few songs need some clarification. Please remember if you are attending. match your songs against the SUP website to make sure you have the most current version.
Tarantulas – the intro is the last two lines of the first verse
Monster Mash – repeat ending twice and then end on a G chord
Black Magic Woman – Go back and repeat the first verse and end the song on the Dm chord.
Susan, you said to remind you to change the word “but” to “that”
We played two songs suggested by Bill.
Back Home Again and House of the Rising Sun. Both songs went very well and are posted on the website. Thank you Bill for sending the PDFs along with your suggestions.
As always if you have a song you’d like to try please send it along to Susan.
We played Cotton Fields, Tom suggested that we repeat the last line and end with C G7 C.
Maria spent a few minutes teaching us a Fandango strum. I hope I have that right Maria. Turns out were playing Senor Don Gato. Thanks Maria
Please check Meetup for the latest events. We have one coming up at Avita in Newburyport on October 28th.
We are planning a SUP! Halloween night for the last Wednesday of the month, October 25th. Costumes would be nice but are not required.
Don’t be a Halloween Grinch.
That’s it for now. Susan please edit /correct anything you feel is needed.
Thank you everyone for coming out and have a great long weekend.
Jack
