SUP Recap 12/6/2023

Thank you Jack, and my apologies for being so late passing it along! After meeting on Saturday we have a couple of additions:Marilyin will be doing a singalong of The 12 Days of Christmas during our library performance…. we will fit it in toward the beginning of the night. No need to learn it on ukulele! But: Marilyn, if you have it in a certain key please share and we will play along.
Also, on December 20, when we are very tired of Christmas songs, please indulge us in a night of Christmas song parodies.... send along any suggestions that you have!

I hope you all are having a fun and stress-free December. See you next week!
Susan

Good evening Susan,

We had 15 and attendance and we were bumped into the Children’s Room by some political meeting.

The majority of the evening was spent going over the established song list for the 13th. Everyone felt that they had the songs down so we don’t need to go over them in this recap.

Don’t forget, we will have one more practice for the Library Christmas Open House this Saturday morning from 10 to 12.

We spent the rest of the time picking random songs.

This evening marked my 5th anniversary with the Seabrook group.  I was welcomed into the group that evening and I have not looked back. Thanks everyone for making it such a fun group.

Events:

12/13 – Seabrook Library Christmas Celebration Open House. We will be out on the main floor, please sign up. The more the merrier, get it? If you are attending please try to get there early to allow time to set up. Susan and I will be there by 4:30 at the latest. This will be during our normal meetup hours.

1/15/2024 – Riverwoods Exeter. More info to follow.

You will find more events and information on our Meetup page.

Enjoy the rest of the week and I hope to see some are maybe all of you this Saturday.

Take care,

Jack
