SUP Recap 3/9/2024

Hi, everyone, and thank you, Jack!

We will set up at least one more library Saturday, on April 13 — beyond that, I would like to explore outdoor practices and performances on the weekends. Stay tuned on that.

For those coming to Manchester on April 12, the setlist is attached here. The songs are all on the website as well. If you are NOT signed up, please consider joining us!

Continue sending in those song suggestions! We have had some really good ones. Sending them ahead of time is very helpful, as that gives me a chance to get familiar with the song and make

sure we have a good arrangement and a singable key.

See you Wednesday – we will be running through a few of the Manchester songs, but also playing some Irish ditties and assorted suggested songs. Come on down!

Susan

Hi Suzerain,

We had 10 players in attendance today including Lee from the Off Their Rockers Ukulele Players.  We will be performing with them at Riverwoods Manchester April 12th.

We spent part of the time going over a tentative list for Riverwoods Manchester.  Susan will be putting out the final list in the very near future. The balance of the morning was spent on random songs.

The following songs need something:

That’ll Be the Day – take out the “Ye-has” and practice the song.

Imagine, Helplessly Hoping and Crazy Little Thing Called Love – practice

Sweet City Women- this was a request from one of the librarians. Please listen to the song and we will try it again at practice

Events:

Riverwoods Manchester 4/12

Picnic and Play at Peggy’s House 7/17

For more information on these events please check Meetup.

If you know some place that would enjoy hearing us play. Please let Susan know.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone,

Jack
