SUP Recap 5/15/2024

Thank you, Jack—-everyone, you really need to read to the end.

It was a fun evening and thank you to Bev for singing Birth of the Blues – you are the best!

Also thanks to Michelle for bailing us out on “We are Going to be Friends”. Give that woman a microphone!

As always, we have successes and disasters, but always a great time. Thank you all!

And PS, Joan, I promise I will bring the songs you meant next time!

Susan

Dearest Suzerain,

Sixteen in attendance this beautiful warm evening.

Please be advised that everyone is welcome to any event. Please sign up these are always fun and the more the merrier.

I believe that there was an offer for drinks and snacks after this coming Saturday’s performance at The All American Assisted Living.  I’m hoping there’ll be more information forthcoming.

Were you looking for more players to sign up for the Black Bear event at the Kingston Rec.

I’m not sure if I can outrun Susan so the more attendees we have the safer we will all be.

We had a few songs that need a little work:

Bare Necessities – repeat last line in remove the final C chord

Rhythm of the Falling Rain – replace the Bm with a G chord in the last two lines. Susan may do a key change

Birth of the Blues – Susan to fix the song. She knows what that means.

Bev, thank you for performing that song. You were awesome.

Tonto (I work for free therefore I can’t afford a boat). You probably would have had to been there this evening to understand that comment.
