Good evening and happy Independence Day Eve,
I am doing Jack’s recap this evening, although he insisted I send it to him first for an accuracy and completeness check! Here it is:First of all, we had a fairly sedate gathering of 8 players this evening. We went through the options for our July 20 performance, and based on that, I have decided this will be our setlist:1. Come Sail Away2. Summer in the CIty3. San Francisco Bay Blues4. Please Mr. Postman5. Help Me, Rhonda6. All You Need is LoveAlternates: Tuesday Afternoon, possibly Shanty or another harmonica song
Here is a link to Help Me Rhonda. Please listen to the singing parts; tonight Lauren did the high harmonies, Jack filled in the low accent parts, and I held down the middle. The more voices the better on this one, so find your comfort zone and don’t be shy:

One other song we played with tonight that I want to fit in someplace, is Low Rider. It was to be a Government Cheese song, but we started to worry that adding another group will take away from open mic time. Perhaps we can warm up or end the day with it, with everyone playing on their G chord.
A fun playalong is here:

Cowbell, kazoos, shakers: all will fit in. I believe Jack will sing it.
