SUP Recap 7/10/2024

Hi, Everyone!

It was a very social and somewhat rowdy evening back in the Big Room!
Anyone who wants to join us tomorrow at AAAL is welcome – we will be setting up at 2 pm for a 2:30 performance. It’s a fun audience there.

Beyond that, I have reached out to Coppal House Farm to firm up a few details, which I will share on the Meetup post for those attending. We will have Spider with us next Wednesday to practice those songs. Note that the Sailor’s hornpipe is only in rough form for ukulele – this is basically a Spider solo, with some ukulele backup, much like the Fisher Hornpipe. I will get music to both posted- it is just the easy chords, played in time with the harmonica.

After that we have our library reading program performances, one on our regular Wednesday evening and one on Saturday. Check out Meetup for those as well – I will have the setlists posted this weekend.

Thanks to all of you for your good cheer and friendship! I am trying to stay organized but always appreciate reminders and suggestions!

See you soon,

Susan

Hi Susan

Finally a break in the heatwave.

Susan did a brief recap of how great the Mighty Ukes Summer Jam was.
