Hi, Jack!
Thanks for the recap, and to all for joining us in the cozy room this week. It was a fun time as always. Boris was definitely in the house, and there were lots of excellent sound effects!
Coppal House Farm will be a fun day, and the weather looks pretty darn good for mid-October. As Jack mentioned, anyone interested can still just show up and join in. We will have Tom’s sound system which allows us to plug in multiple mics, so if you have a mic and cord, bring it. Those who are mic-shy are always welcome to play along without one too – or just come by and listen.
Going forward, we have been invited to play at the Kingston Recreation center for their holiday party with Santa, on November 30. Once I have details on that it will be posted on Meetup.
Our second annual Hogapalooza is tentatively set for Feb. 1. I need to check with the library on that, but save the date.
Meanwhile, I will be working on setting up our 2025 calendar of events. Please let me know if you know of a new venue – nursing home, farm market, open mic or party of any sort – that you would like us to play at. We will return to some familiar places too. We will try to stay to a maximum of one performance per month so we all have ample time to goof off and play new songs just for the fun of it.
Have a great week, everyone!
Susan

Good evening Susan,
We had 11 in attendance this evening. We practice in the cozy confines of the children’s room.
We spent the evening picking songs from the setlist for this Saturday’s performance at Coppal House Farm. If you would like to see those songs they app on the website under the event.
After practice a few of us went to listen to the spooky scary storyteller. He was excellent.
Events:
Coppal House Farm Craft Fair – Lee, NH – October 19. This is somewhat Halloween themed. Costumes are optional for the faint of heart.
I’m told that Tom will have his sound system. Anyone who has a microphone, mic stand etc should bring it. Those of us with equipment will be meeting at 9:30. After 9:45 they will not let anyone drive down to the area. You’ll have to carry your equipment.
Those who are traveling light should be there no later than 10:30.
This performance area is wide open if you would like to join just show up. Remember no experience is necessary to perform.
Please check Meetup for the latest information on all events.
That’s it for now. We hope to see some of you Saturday.
Thank you,
Jackie Boris Heffernan
