It was a fun evening but I am just as happy to put Halloween away for another year! You guys in costume were splendid, though.
I will be making some calls to firm up our holiday activities and post them on Meetup.
Also: save the date for Hogapalooza II: February 1, 2025!
I am not really feeling the holiday spirit just yet, but believe it or not we will be starting to practice our Christmas/Hannukah/Winter songs in preparation for performances. Start thinking about what we might repeat or add this year – send me your favorites please!
Aside from preparing for performances, we will be choosing a couple of challenging songs to work on in depth. There’s a lot we can do if we make full use of all our great voices and ukulele skills! Again, suggestions are very welcome, and depending who you are, I might actually accept them!

Good spooky evening Susan,
We had 15 in attendance this pre-hallows eve.
There were a few intrepid souls in costume. See attached photo.
We spent the evening playing mixture of Halloween and regular songs. At some point Susan sent out something saying that we were going to murder Halloween songs and she was correct. That’s what happens when you play some of them once a year. We did have one of the patrons come in and request Monster Mash. I believe she was the same person that requested three or four months ago.
Events:
Seabrook Library Christmas/Holiday Celebration – Wednesday December 18th. This will be during our normal Meetup time. We will be in the main part of the lobby. Refreshments will be served. We usually have a pretty good turnout for this. There will be more information once Susan has time to post it on Meetup
The following are two possible holiday performances:
Kingston Rec Holiday Performance – November 30th
Newburyport Custom House Christmas Concert – December 6th. The Newburyport Choral society will also be performing
