Thank you, Jack for capturing all the details!
And thanks to all who attended for being super fun and kind people, not to mention fine ukulele players and singers! Have I buttered you up enough? Seriously I am constantly amazed at what a wonderful group of people we collect with our crazy Wednesdays. Please keep coming!
I am currently trying to type with two kittens attacking the screen. I do not take responsibility for any unseemly comments.
I am attaching the latest Bug song lyrics and Warner schedule. It is going to be a fantastic day; just be sure to bring your own comforts in the form of drinks, snacks, a chair, etc. I may think of things I am forgetting tonight tomorrow. If so, I will share.
I am super excited about the portapotties!
Tonight with Patty’s excellent help, we collected $120 in pre-event raffle sales. Rest assured she was very diligent with putting the tickets in the marked envelopes. Even at the reduced prices, this is on track to be a very successful raffle, which means the venue will be paid for and COntookuleles can recoup their expenses.
I will bring the tee shirts and also certain water bottles I have been holding hostage.
….Okay, kittens are tired and so am I.
If anyone has any questions about the event, please reach out. Otherwise – see you Saturday!

Good evening Susan,
We had 24 members in attendance this evening.
We started a little late this evening because of advanced raffle ticket and T-shirt sales.
The very stylish Seacoast Ukulele Players shirts are $25 each. Please contact Susan if you would like one.
An additional raffle prize was added this evening. A very nice wooden instrument stand donated by Carol McPhee.
Speaking of raffles, the price of the tickets has been drastically reduced over past events.
You can get three tickets for $5, eight tickets for $10 or 20 tickets for $20. Bargain basement prices for some high quality prizes.
I’m going to bring address labels to prevent writer’s cramp. If a winning ticket is pulled in the name of John, please remind me that that is my real name.
A couple more things came up tonight about the festival:
Bring your own chairs
You can bring coolers
There are several small restaurants very close by but you’re welcome to bring lunch.
There will be porta potties available
We went through a bunch of songs that we’ve done in the past and we also worked on all the Warner songs.
The only one that I recall that needs some work is the Banana Boat Song. Susan is going to check cord placement.
If you’d like to revisit this evening songs, you can find them on the website under Meetup song lists PDFs.
