Thank you, Jack!
It was a fun time, thanks again to Lauren and Tom for hosting us and including us in the birthday celebration!
Anyone who may be able to join us on Saturday, please do let me know via email so I can keep you informed. The plan and song choices should be more clear after I talk with Don’s family tonight, but right now our best plan is to bring several options that aren’t too challenging and go with the flow. No amps. Right now the songs to bring include What a Wonderful World, Imagine, Down by the Riverside (which I will add to the website this morning), Stand By Me, Sea Cruise, I Can See Clearly Now, and I am looking into Zippidy Doo Da, as someone in the family brought it up. Stay tuned.
Some of you know there is another party coming up, but I have not announced generally: I am retiring from my job at the Town of Kingston as of next Friday (Halloween, Jack’s favorite holiday). There will be an open house party on Saturday, November 1 from 2:00 – 5:00. This will be at 18 Beach Drive in Kingston – Rick’s house. No need to bring anything except yourself and your ukulele in case we get to play a few songs; I will be setting up some stands and mics in the upstairs hallway overlooking the living room. Please come if you are available!
Moving on from there, we will be back in the library next Wednesday and presumably I will have time to organize the songs. They will include some of our favorite Halloween songs, but I promise not too many….
Have a great day, everyone! See you soon.
Susan

Good evening Susan,
First I want to wish Lauren a very Happy Birthday! And to thank her and Tom for their hospitality at Garage Band 4. It was a great time as usual.
There were 20 members in attendance to enjoy all the great food and decadent chocolate birthday cake
We took part of the evening to work on songs for our good friend Don Wilder’s celebration of life. He will be missed.
We will be playing one or two songs at the Community Church in Newfields this Saturday. We may be playing a couple more afterwards by the river.
The rest of the evening was spent playing random songs. We had a couple of highlights. The first was Lauren soloing on a song by Dawes, Your Favorite Bands. You sounded fantastic Lauren. That capped off your birthday.
The second highlight was Bev bringing us all in on Wade in the Water. It was a very soulful performance Bev.
Events:
Don Wilder’s Celebration of Life – Newfields Community Church – Newfields, NH.
If you want to be include in this please reached out to Susan ASAP. As of this moment we have four members attending.
I hope to have a few videos from the couple farm performance on YouTube in the near future
Have a great weekend and don’t forget next Wednesday is our annual Halloween, yes I said Halloween Susan, Meetup. Costumes are not required but we always have a few players.
Enjoy the rest of the week and hope to see many of you Wednesday.
Take care,
Gomez Addams AKA Jack
