Thank you, Jack – for all you do and always being there for us.
First, my apologies for Brain Damage (Pink Floyd) and the damage it may have inflicted to your brains. It seemed like a good idea at the time. Moonshadow was a much more fun reference to the Artemis 2 mission.
Please do remember to be sure you have the most updated version of “In My Life”. The pdf on the website has everything up to date. I will have a few more hard copies available on Saturday if needed.
The changes to “Don’t Bring Me Down” were supposed to be clarification on timing, mainly at the end. My clarifications caused more harm than good! This is what the ending should look/sound like:
I’ll [C] tell you once more before I [G] get off the [D] floor,
Don’t bring me
strum along with bass as in intro:
[A] down. [D] [A] [D]
. . . . . . . ! . . . . . . . !
I’ll [C] tell you once more before I [G] get off the [D] floor,
Don’t bring me [A] down, down, down, down down….(Fade.)
Saturday will be fun – we are prepared! Don’t forget to get there by 1:00 to be sure you can find a place to park and we can be set up and ready to play by 1:30. Everyone with amps and mics should be there a little before 1:00. Also, don’t forget to smile, of course!
See you there,
Susan

Good evening Susan,
Yet another great evening. We had 23 in attendance.
Susan put together a PDF of some new to us and not so new to us songs. The PDF included a few songs that we will be playing Saturday at Riverwoods.
Speaking of Riverwoods, Larry has graciously invited anyone who attends to pay a visit to his apartment which is on the premises. I think it’s actually his wife’s apartment and she keeps him around for some unknown reason.
I’m not going to get into great detail on the songs but what I have is below. Susan may add some comments.
Moonshadow – needs practice
Sunshine – same is above
Don’t Bring Me Down – the most recent correction doesn’t seem to work. I believe Susan is going to tell everyone to cross out the four dots. I will let her explain further.
Ripple – since we’ll be playing this Saturday try to remember that it’s one strum per chord on the last line.
Come Sail Away – Don’t forget to switch to double time when you get to the instrumental. If you have any questions we can explain it Saturday before the performance
Come and Get Your Love – Susan to add the into as an outro.
Up on Cripple Creek – needs a lot of practice
Brain Damage – by Pink Floyd -no words
