I will get those corrections done, and also put together the pdf for the Nashua songs. The list is already posted (in order) on Meetup and on the website post, but I will get the actual song sheets out there today.
Next week we will review the entire list, concentrating on the newer or trickier songs. Anyone who is attending: please identify any of the songs you would particularly like to practice, and we will be sure to shine those up.
I am going to confirm details on the Nashua event and will get anything new or more specific out on Meetup.
Looking ahead to Webster on the 29th – once again, this is a performance scheduled in the afternoon on a Wednesday, so some of us will be going from Rye directly to practice. This will also mean those of us helping out with the kids’ program at 4 pm on Wednesdays will miss this one. Amanda (librarian) has said it is okay if we are not there, but if anyone who is not going to Webster would like to step in as extra help, I think that would be great. Generally, we have been one-on-one help for a very small (3-4 kids) group of beginners.
By the way, the list for Webster is posted, so check it out. We will run through those songs on the 22nd.

Hi Susan,
Fun night as usual. We had 20 in attendance.
The performance at Joan’s wake went well. The family was very appreciative. Dave told us that Joan was up in heaven with the largest audience we’ve ever played for.
We went through a PDF tonight that featured some of the newer songs that were going to play at the Nashua Farmers Market. If you haven’t signed up, please do it’ll be a good time. I thought I heard rumors of a possible get together at Tom’s after the performance.
She also threw in some random songs.
Groovin’ – Susan took out the oohs and ahs in the body of the song. If you know where to sing them feel free to throw them in.
The Way – Susan told me to write “put dots on it” and she would know what that meant. Also, take out the last B7. The song went pretty well but needs more practice.
You’ve Got to Hide Your Love Away – practice
Do You Want to Know a Secret – practice Tom will listen to the bass part.
Circle Game – A lot of different chords but it is worth pursuing
Streets of London – this had been a Tom and Susan duet which is now being opened up to the group. It was pointed out that people were singing different words. Susan will attempt to resolve that issue.
Breaking Up is Hard to Do – practice
Cry to Me – practice
Moon River – listen to it and practice
Somewhere Over the Rainbow – The intro is four beats on each chord. The remainder of the song it’s eight beats on each chord. It was pointed out that the a couple of the chords In the intro don’t match what’s in the chord box. For example, F-C should be F/C and Am-C should be Am/C. Susan said she would fix it.
Bubbles Up – This is a new song Joan’s family requested. Please listen to it and we will continue to practice.
Wilbury Twist – This went fairly well considered we haven’t played it in quite a while. Apparently Susan was disappointed with the quality of my echoes. I had completely forgotten about the song. I will step it up next time Susan and promise not to let you down.
