Good summer evening, Jack –
Ides of July, I like it.
I believe we are ready for a fine performance on Sunday. We never strive for perfection, but we have a good big group signed up and it’s going to go well! Right now, the weather looks perfect.
I will work on a map/more exact address and directions to share to guide us all to the right spot, but your GPS or Mapquest should get you there. All additional information will be shared on the Meetup post for the event.
Thanks to Tom and Maureen for inviting us to their home for a cookout afterwards. Bring a side dish, snack, drink or dessert to share.
If you have a SUP shirt, please wear it – but don’t let lack of a shirt stop you from attending!
Enjoy the rest of this lovely summer week, everyone. Blue skies will be returning, which will be excellent. Let’s face it, yellow is a tacky color for sky.
See you all soon!
Susan

Good warm evening Susan,
It was nice to see blue skies after practice this evening as opposed to yellow.
Welcome to the Ides of July. We had 27 in attendance this evening. This includes three special guests. Carolyn’s friend from Louisiana, Dave and his daughter Andrea. This is the first time we’ve seen Dave since Joan’s wake. He dropped off the funeral mass book with Susan if anyone would like to see it. It was nice to have them there and hopefully this will help with their grief.
We played most of the set list for the Nashua performance. Additionally we played Ripple for Dave and Andrea as a tribute to Joan.
You can find the Nashua set list under the event on Meetup or on the homepage of our website. Click on the event under our logo. It is not too late to sign up. This promises to be a fun event. As a bonus there will be a get-together at Tom’s house immediately following the event.
